About EDC Communications

Rigorous enough for the science. Human enough to create change.

For more than 20 years, EDC has helped life-sciences professionals develop as communicators. We combine respect for scientific expertise with practical coaching in how to explain, engage, and respond.

Why we work this way

Communication development should change human behavior.

A polished presentation is useful. The larger goal is a person who can communicate clearly without depending on a perfect script.

That means learning to recognize what an audience needs, organize complex information, and handle questions with confidence. Those are behaviors people can practice, receive feedback on, and bring into their next conversation.

The EDC approach

Training built around the work your people actually do.

01

Start with the situation

Identify the audience, the communication challenge, and what participants need to do differently.

02

Practice the behavior

Work through relevant presentations, questions, and conversations with focused coaching.

03

Make progress specific

Give people clear feedback on what to keep, what to change, and what to practice next.

Who we work with

Different roles. Different communication demands.

EDC works with Medical Affairs teams, Medical Science Liaisons, Thought Leader Liaisons, commercial teams, healthcare professional speakers, and leaders.

We also partner with agencies that plan training for life-sciences clients. The program should reflect the participants’ roles, responsibilities, and communication settings.

Leadership

Meet the people who guide the work.
